Fall Reunion
The Fall 2008 Valley of Orlando Reunion honoring Ill:. Bro:. Frederick M. Morris, 33°, was a great success, and 22 new Masters of the Royal Secret joined the ranks of the Valley of Orlando. In addition, with the inclusion of a number of degrees which have not been performed in many years, the Valley of Orlando conferred all 29 degrees this year between the Spring and Fall Reunions. Under the leadership of Degree Director, Bro:. George Van Pelt, 32° K:. C:. C:. H:., the many Degree Directors, and the approximately 250 Brothers who participated in the casts, worked sound, lights, stage, altar, kitchen, and Candidate Education Committees, the class, and those in attendance, we treated to an outstanding Fall Reunion. We welcome our new Brothers, and hope they will become active in their local clubs, and participate in the monthly meetings at the Valley.

Masonic Education Minute
In the 13th Degree, Royal Arch of Solomon, the entrance of Adoniram, Yehu-Aber, and Satolkin into the cavern symbolizes —
(a) Seeking deeply within ourselves for the knowledge of the Diety.
(b) The descent of the human spirit into dispair, and the discovery of hope.
(c) The ignorance of the pagan people, and the light of Divinity.
The answer will be published in the October 15th edition of the eNews.
The answer to the September 15th “Masonic Education Minute” — ‘A member of the Elu of the Twelve has the title ... ’ was (b) Prince Ameth or Prince of Truth. (See page 69 or 70 of A Bridge to Light for more information.)
For information on the history and development of the Scottish Rite, check out your copy of Bridge to Light, or the Scottish Rite Ritual Monitor and Guide which is also available in the Valley Library.
